The session fee is a non-refundable $250 plus tax for non-newborn, and $350 for newborn plus 8.25% Texas State Sales Tax.
What is included in this fee?
The Session Fee includes my editing time, session planning, and editing skills. Also included is our pre-consultation where we will discuss the session styling, colors, order custom dresses if needed, and really create a personalized session for you that encompasses what you want. For local clients, this meeting takes place in-person at my home studio where you will also be able to see the products available for purchase as well as a variety of framing options for your consideration. It also covers the actual photo session lasting anywhere from 45 minutes for a non-newborn session to 3 hours for a newborn session. Approximately 1-2 weeks after the session, we will meet again for an ordering appointment to view your final images and select your heirloom products.
The session fee DOES NOT INCLUDE any digital or physical products. All products including digital images may be purchased separately at our ordering appointment.
How much can I expect to spend?
This is completely dependent upon what your personal needs and wants are. Many clients typically want a few images from the session framed and printed to hang on the wall, others may want a full album for display, and some may only want one large impacting canvas to hang over the mantel. My entire menu is A La Carte so that you are able to order exactly what you want without being limited to specific products in a package. Please note that the minimum purchase amount is $500 before tax. For a ballpark investment idea, my average client will spend between $1,000-$3,000 on their final portrait investment.
I just need a few prints. Can I just order a few small desk prints?
For a full session, desk prints may be purchased as an add-onto the purchase of wall art, an album, or a story box; however, desk prints may not be purchased alone.
Can I just get the digital files?
Full resolution digital negatives may be purchased separately. However, depending on how much art is purchased before tax is included, a full digital gallery may be added onto the total purchase at a better rate than individual files. For example, when $3,000 of products are purchased, the digital collection is complimentary. When $2,500 of products are purchased, the digital collection may be purchased for $500.
For any art purchased, a coordinating watermarked, social media sized file is included. This file is sharable, but not printable.
Do you discount?
I do not offer discounts outside of any current promotions to uphold fairness for all of my clients.
What payment options are accepted?
I currently accept cash, check, or credit card payments through Square.
Do you offer payment plans?
Square Installments is available for qualifying clients. An online application may be processed at the ordering appointment if this option is preferred.
